"What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas"

Esta viagem nem devia ter direito a post no blogue de tão fraquinha que ela foi.
Nunca pensei que Vegas pudesse ser tão pouco animada!! O café da minha terra dava-lhe uma cabazada em termos de animação.
Começando pelo hotel fraquinho (bonito por fora e pouco mais), passando pelo desprezo que demos a um voucher de 200 dollares e uma noite grátis no hotel paga pela companhia aérea ao apanhar o avião de regresso, foi só coleccionar historias fraquinhas... fraquinhas... fraquinhas.
Mas como dizem "What happens in Vegas... Stays in Vegas!" não vou entrar em detalhes.
Vou apenas por aqui um video de uns gajos que tinham uma piscina no hotel mas estavam cheios de calor.

Hello!!!

The past weekend we had some guests in the house. Two girls from the other side of the United States decided to visit San Francisco and we, as good Samaritans, offered our accommodations to them. :)
The contact place is something called couchsurfing, some of you may already heard about. I totally recommend it for those of you who want to know interesting people and have some good time with people from another places and cultures.
The girls - Inga & Nevia - are living in the US for quite some time, but they are from Ukraine and Croatia respectively. They where relaxed, funny, interesting and nice people to be around with.
It turn out to be a great weekend very different from the usual. We went to some places where we already had been before and to others for the first time but we, I guess I can speak for everyone in the house, had a lot of fun during all the time that we spent with them.
Since the Vietnamese restaurant (where the cockroaches were all over the place), the private show in Ashbury Heights, the "awesome" plate they cooked for us, the constant good mood, the good conversations, to everything... I enjoy it a lot! Thank you for coming and you are always welcome at my place, wherever that may be in the future.

Yosemite National Park

Hello dear friends...

Por aqui continua tudo bem e espero que por aí também, obrigado por perguntarem ;)
No fim de semana passado fui a um parque natural chamado Yosemite.
O parque é espectacular, é enorme, cheio de cascatas e animaiszinhos.
Dizem que há lá ursos (Black bears e Grizlis), alces, veados, cascaveis, pumas, gatos selvagens (Bobcats), lobos, etc...
Vi um ou dois ursos a falar indiano mas não sei de que raça eram, vi alguns veados, muitos esquilos, mas coisas mais a sério nada!
Fizemos mais de 30 km a pé, metade deles a subir muito e pelo meio de pedras, vimos grandes paisagens e respiramos o ar puro de uma zona sem grandes marcas de "mão humana".
Foi muito bom, um fim de semana na natureza sabe bem de vez em quando.

Deixo aqui um videozito da experiência, não dá para perceber a real grandeza do parque mas dá para ficar com uma ideia e ver umas fotos minhas na palhaçada.
